Online Student Orientation

Welcome to the online student orientation at Salem Community College. This is a short guided tour through the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). This is the system used to organize and present online information in classes at SCC.

This orientation will explain to you technology requirements and settings for using Canvas. You will also get advice on how to be successful in an online course. Finally, you will be introduced to the most useful Canvas features. Depending on your level of computer experience, it will take you between 30 and 90 minutes to work through the course.
