Office 365 for PC or Mac Users

As a student at Salem Community College you can download a free copy of Microsoft Office. If you have another version of Office you must uninstall this version before you can add the current version of Office. Please contact the SCC Instructional Technology Specialist if you are have questions about uninstalling an existing version of Office from your device.

To obtain the cloud version of Office 365 or download Micrsoft Office to your device, you will need your SCC Student Identification # (P0000xxxxx). Log into Office 365 by following these steps:

1) In your Internet browser, open the SCC webpage (salemcc.edu) and navigate to:
Current Students>Online Services>Office 365

Select the link to log into Office 365 

2) In the box for the username, type your student ID#@salemcc.edu
(P0000xxxxx@salemcc.edu)

Hit ENTER and you should see the many apps available to you in Office 365. In the upper right corner, look for the box labeled Install Software.

3) Follow the instructions for completing the download. You will not be able to do this if you have a version-even a trial version- of Office already installed on your device.
